As an experienced registered nurse with nine years of clinical experience, I have had the opportunity to specialize in acute medical and surgical problems, developmental disabilities, rehabilitation needs, and community support. Furthermore, I have experience supporting residents in a Retirement Home and Long-term Care Home in Canada by implementing meaningful recreation programs with a person-centered approach and assisting in activities of daily living of residents.
My nursing skills and knowledge are competent and include general medical and surgical care, as well as rehabilitation. Additionally, I have strong skills in managing emotions and responding appropriately in challenging situations.
Regarding my favorite leisure is hiking with friends. During hiking, I really enjoy the surrounding green spaces, birds, and running water, which make me very relaxed. And, hiking can increase my attention span and promote creative thinking. I would like to try all the trails in Ontario to promote my physical health!
In addition, I enjoy cooking with my family because it promotes our harmonious relationships. Besides, it is a great fun to share tasty cuisines with our new friends and neighbors.
