Enegetic and positive person with 4+ years of teacher experience looking for a job as a Nanny I worked as a school teacher for 5 years. I managed group of pupils from 5 - 18 years old. I leaded activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs which engaged children to be more active and helped them to express their feelings. I took children to local points of interest which leaded to more friendly, peaceful and calm atmosphere between children after their time spending together. Working every year in summer school camp I helped with preparing meals, arranged rooms for lunch, discussed progress and problems of children at stuff meetings.

My name is Olha . I used to work in the hospitality business, my last job was as a Restaurant Manager, but now I am looking for a new path in my career. I came from Ukraine in 2018, finished Niagara College as one of the top students, then lived a few months in Newfoundland, and now almost two years in Surrey. I have a husband, and we are together since 2005. I was travelling a lot working on cruise lines and visiting new places is still one of my passions. I adore cooking and always moderate recipes looking for new tastes and experiences. I love nature the same as big cities, and there is never bad weather for me as every day is already a blessing. I believe that taking care of our future generation is one of the most important ways to preserve and defend our planet especially due to the recent situation whole over the world. Unfortunately, for now, I am not able to receive any professional education to become an Educator or Teacher because of my present work permit condition (unless it will be authorized by government officials); it will be possible only after I obtain my Permanent Resident card. But I always dream big. My resume will not show any professional experience in working with children unless that time when I was a manager in a bowling club back in Ukraine and had to organize various types of celebrations for kids and youth. However, I have a younger brother I raised as my child and spent all my time playing with him and his friends. Already being an adult, I had some thoughts about why I did not become a teacher as this is something I really would love to do. I started writing books for teenagers hoping my stories would affect their minds and help them grow into dignified people.

Hello, my name is Nataliia. I am a warm-hearted 60-year-old with a vivacious spirit and energy, originally from Ukraine but have spent a significant part of my life in Moldova as well. I am now based out of New Westminster, near my daughter and her family, whom I moved closer to in 2023 to start a new chapter in my life. My English is at a beginner's level, but I am dedicated to improving it. I have been caring for children for four years, particularly enthusiastic about helping with newborns up till school-age children. My initiation into child-care started in 2019 when I extended my capacity as a grandmother to help raise my granddaughter: a wholesome experience that included various responsibilities such as feeding, cooking, bathing, and participating in several engaging activities essential for her growth. My background includes spending almost two decades in enterprise economics and agriculture, a time that fostered my ability to handle responsibilities efficiently, but my real joy comes in being a nanny. Along with child care, my responsibilities would extend to performing household tasks such as cooking, light housekeeping, running errands, helping with homework, and even pet care. Being highly educated, with a Master's degree to my credit, I am keen on incorporating educational activities and reading into your child's daily routine. While I don't have a driver's license, I am open to travel and relocate, and have the flexibility to adapt to multiple living arrangements- Live-In or Live-Out. I am available to work full-time or part-time every day of the week, throughout the day, up till nighttime, based on your family's needs. To care for up to two children, and I'm comfortable working with children who have disabilities. Fluent in Russian and Ukrainian, I am looking forward to using my life experiences and love for children to provide the best care for your family. Looked after my granddaughter from 0 to 4 years old in New Westminster and Victoria, BC, Canada: preparing food for child, feeding, washing children's dishes, walking outside, changing baby's clothers, reading children's books, playing education games as contour drawings, coloring pages, modeling from clay, puzzles, outdoor games and other. Caregiver for senior Help the clients in bathing, dressing and undressing, prepare food and feed, perform routine health-related duties such as changing non-sterile dressing and checking blood pressure regularly, laundry, washing dishes, change bedding, accompany the person.

Hello! My name is Mariya. I am 19 and currently acquiring my Bachelor of Business Management degree at Simon Fraser University. I am an international student from Ukraine who has lived in Vancouver for almost three years. I enjoy dancing, outdoor sports, photography, and cooking. I have been passionate about babysitting since I was 15. It started when I found myself more interested in spending time with my mom's friend's 4-year-old son than adults while on a collective vacation in Thailand. We formed a mutual bond, and his mom agreed to let me be his nanny. I still babysit him whenever I return to Ukraine, and we are both so excited about it! I then became a counsellor for 4-to 7-year-old children at a kids' camp. I volunteered and worked there for two summers before coming to Canada. I always tried to make their routine fun, which is why the kids liked me. For example, when preparing meals, I engaged them in the process, where they could learn something new, like why we need to strain the flour and how to do that. Or, in the mornings, when it was hard to wake up, we came up with some games that made the process more enjoyable and effective. While working with children, I possess both organizational and entertainment skills. My approach is to respect children, their thoughts, interests and decisions. I prioritize solving any arguments or problems by openly communicating and finding a mutual solution. I try to reach an agreement where both sides feel satisfied instead of assertively imposing my own "correct" views. I find this approach practical and fair. Working at a kid's camp, occasionally babysitting children of two families.
