Hi, My name is Brea. I am 19 years old and have been babysitting since I was 13. I love working with kids and have volunteered in kindergarten classrooms for many years. I aspire to be a teacher when I am older. To work on that, I am studying at the University of Vancouver Island where I will be obtaining my Bachelors of Education. I have grown up in White Rock and went to a private school for 13 years. I love travelling, art, and skiing. I have also participated in dance since I was three years old. I am very playful with kids and I am able to cook and clean if needed. I hope I can get a chance to work with you. I have worked in Kindergarten classrooms for 6 years. I have been babysitting children for 5 years. I intend to care for children by paying attention to their needs and wants. I can cook, clean and play with them. I have graduated high school and working on a bachelor's degree. I also have my first aid and babysitting course

Hi. My name is Melissa and I am an educator. I currently work as a TTOC. I am looking for childcare work for the upcoming summer months from June to August. I come from a family of 3 children and I am the second oldest. I have grown up surrounded by a lot of family as I have 15+ cousins on each side of the family (my mom and dads). I have a lot of experience with children as I have a younger sister whom I have always taken care of when we were younger. I was always responsible for getting her ready for school in the AM's, packing her lunch, getting her to school and picking her up. After I obtained my babysitting certificate in gr 7, I started babysitting for neighbours when necessary. As a part-time job in the summers before I was legal to obtain work I would babysit for a families. There aren't very many things that I dislike. I like to keep an open mind and try new things. Growing up I played a lot of sports. Specifically softball and soccer. In the off season I would swim and figure skate. the schedules got too hectic and I withdrew from Figure Skating. In my spare time, I volunteer at Canuck place. And my role there as a volunteer is similar to a babysitter. I am responsible for playing with the children there on respite and also entertaining their siblings. If hired as a caregiver for your children I think I would be an excellent one. I am an easy going, friendly and organized person. I can relate well with children. I think with the education I have had thus far in post secondary would be of great use when dealing with situations that occur. When I was in Gr. 7 I became a certified babysitter. I started babysitting my little sister .And when my neighbours had events to attend I would babysit there 2 young children for a handful of hours at a time. My whole life I have been around young children. One summer in Jr. High I received a full-time babysitting job. I babysat two young girls who were two years apart. I have also taught summer sport camps for a couple of years. The ages of the children ranged from five to fourteen. This past summer, I found an incredible family from this website and spent my summer babysitting their one year old son Jack. But unfortunately, once post-secondary started up again I was unable to babysit for them. I finished my Sports Science Diploma in 2011 and I am currently working on finishing my Bachelors of Physical Education

I moved from Halifax Nova Scotia to Delta British Columbia with my significant other, our two year old golden retriever Keano, and our three year old cat Giggsy at the beginning of this year. I am currently working at an animal hospital in Richmond, but the commute is becoming too much as the weather is getting worse. I am seeking a full time job a little closer to home. I am not looking for a retail job or customer service job. I am looking for a job knowing that I can go to work and make a difference in someone's life. I have a large background in security, which includes being very diligent, observant, patient, and caring. I always wanted to pursue a career with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and have a diploma in law enforcement foundations. I have many years of experience working with children, as I have spent many evenings and summers caring for children of all ages. My first aid and child CPR is up to date. I would like to help provide a safe, caring, nurturing and stimulating environment in which your children can thrive and develop in while you are away. I am very outgoing, crafty, organized, and love being busy inside and outside. I am a non-smoker, honest and reliable, and I would love to share my life experience with your family. Since I am so far away from home I would love to become a part of your family and create memories. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to meet and discuss my qualifications in greater depth. Thank you for your time, I look forward to hearing back from you. I have many years of experience working with children, as I have spent many evenings and summers caring for children of all ages. Duties included, cleaning, cooking, preparing kids for school, engaging in healthy play, homework, attending sporting events, and personal hygiene. I am very outgoing and love joining in with activities both inside and outside. I’d love to share my life experience with your family. Since I’m so far away from home I’d love to become a part of your family and create memories together. I would love to be your nanny. I have been taking care of children for about 10 years varying from newborns to 11 year olds. As well, I coach children in both rugby and football, generally aged 4-9, and as a result I have many activities up my sleeve for the little ones. I have a very flexible schedule, so whatever works for you will more than likely work for me, too. I am all about making a fun, safe environment for the children, and would love the opportunity to do just that for your family. Through my schooling I have obtained a greater understanding of gross and fine motor skills, and ways to get kids learning and active. My main activities include sports, coaching, or school. I look forward to hearing from you. I would love to be your nanny. I have worked for many families throughout the years, and have worked full time as a nanny/mother's helper. Caring for little ones is my passion and I want to work with your family. I also coach children in the summer and fall seasons. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: I have my CPR/AED level C. I graduated in 2013 from New Westminster Secondary School. I currently will be attending University of Calgary in fall 2019.
