My name is Scheila, I am a 28-year-old student studying Video Arts and Electronics arts at Concordia University. Before that, I was working as a youth & child worker for a non-profit organization called Umoja Operation Compassion Society for about 5 years. I have always had love and passion to make sure that the kids I work with feel joy and embraced in any situation. I believe in child development, over the years I have been to many seminars that I am proud to say have helped me better understand children and their needs.
My interest includes yoga, walks, swimming, dancing, colouring to relax, cooking, baking, reading, and volunteering.
I have 5 years of experience volunteering with the YMCA's youth program, I have worked with children from the ages of 5-12. I have worked with kids with different challenges and needs and have always felt like every child has taught me something new about how I can improve.
