My name is Nicole and I have 27 years of experience working as a nanny. I am available on various days and times throughout the week for both full-time and part-time positions. I have a Bachelor's Degree, CPR Training, First Aid Training, College Child Education Courses, ECE License, and a Special Needs Educator Certificate. I am a non-smoker with a driver's license and vehicle. I am comfortable working with four or more children and can perform a wide range of duties including cooking, light housekeeping, and running errands. I have experience with children of all ages and am looking for long-term positions as a Nanny. I am Canadian, fluent in English, and willing to obtain a police check. A little more about me, I can't imagine any other profession that would be as rewarding as working with children and youth. Over the past couple of decades, I have spent 7 years teaching English to kindergarten students in Japan (Toyko) and landed a role in Korea (Seoul) as a head teacher of a kindergarten and curriculum developer for the school's K - 7 "Core Program". In Canada, I have also had roles such as working for an "on call" nanny agency (Whistler and Vancouver), after-school programs, ECEA in Montessori and childcare facilities and as EA for the Langley School District. I have loved all roles, but my favourite role is nannying in a family's household. My favourite part is forming special bonds with the children and family members. I am adaptable and strive to provide families with the daily care they want for their children. As a nanny, I am always a nurturing, patient, and sincere caregiver who loves days of adventures filled with outdoor activities. I am also a fan of playing age-appropriate games, preparing arts and crafts activities and creating healthy snacks with the assistance of children (if possible). As an educator, I am committed to excellence: creating environments to enhance children’s emotional and physical development while instilling life-long learning habits.
