I like to really get to know each child individually. knowing their likes, dislikes and then plan my activities, games, stories, crafts around each one. I have been a Nanny for the last 8 years. I have worked for 6 families, 10 children, all on various days and evenings. I have always got along great with all children and parents. I still do occasional babysitting for some of the families. I take the job very seriously and love to plan my days with the children in advance which includes, games of all types, arts and crafts, baking, music and dancing, treasure hunts etc. A day could include anything from playing hockey in the garage to having a tea party in the afternoon. As I drive and have a car, we have gone on a lot of outings as well, to pumpkin patches, movies, "Kids Zone" (indoor playground), water parks, picnics etc. I also have had the responsibility of keeping the children on schedule and getting them to School, Kindergarten and pre-school on time on various mornings. I am perfectly OK also to do light housekeeping, making meals, lunches, laundry, and general clean up. The house is always kept in perfect order and clean for the parents when they return home. I also ran a small daycare in my home when my girls were young, recently have been a "Nanny on the go" for differently families for the last 5 years.
