A hard-working, versatile and reliable individual with a vast number of years experience, working independently or in a team with children including those with disabilities while living in England. My work experience as a Children Support Worker, Family Contact Supervisor and currently as a Registered Intellectual Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) has given me the opportunity to gain a better understanding around nursing and caring for children while I lived in the UK, therefore it is my desire to continue working with children while I reside in Canada. My hobbies include cycling, swimming, singing, going for walks and keeping fit. Having a strong family bond is essential for children growing up in society today and my role is to enable every child I care for to feel important within their family because "every child matters".
