Anaiyah B.
I love creating a safe and happy environment for kids. I recently just got my yoga certificate, and if the kids are interested, I’d love to incorporate some yoga or movement into their routines — it’s a great way for me to practice for my own classes, too. I’m adventurous and love trying new things, especially when it comes to food — I’m a bit of a foodie and really enjoy cooking! I also enjoy reading, traveling, and picking up new hobbies — right now I’m learning sewing — and I love spending time outdoors. I work as a server, which has taught me to stay organized, multitask, and stay calm in busy situations — skills I bring to babysitting too. I’m responsible, reliable, and love helping kids explore their interests, play, and have fun in a safe and nurturing way. I’d be excited to get to know your family and support your children in their daily adventures!
My babysitting journey started around age 10, when I began caring for two families in my neighborhood. Shortly after, I earned my babysitting certificate. My first family had a six-month-old and a two-year-old, and I cared for them during the day for about four years, gaining experience with routines, naps, meals, playtime, and light cleaning. Since then, I’ve cared for children of many ages — from toddlers to pre-teens — including a two-year-old, 10-year-old twins, and kids aged 8 to 12. I’ve also had the opportunity to babysit some of the children I taught in my recreational dance classes, which allowed me to combine creativity and fun with reliable childcare. Over the years, I’ve helped with daily activities, meal prep, homework, playtime, outdoor activities, light cleaning, and following routines, always prioritizing safety, engagement, and a positive environment.
