Tushneet K.
My name is Tushneet and I am a motivated and hardworking 22-year-old childcare provider from Surrey. My background includes experience in customer service, hospitality, security, and child care that has helped me cultivate premier communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Despite only having a year of official working experience, my family values and natural knack for caregiving make me an ideal nanny. Respect, empathy, and dedication are the qualities I bring into my professional life, combined with a friendly personality, problem-solving abilities, and an eagerness to learn. I am available for both full-time and part-time positions and can start immediately. I am available every day from mid-day through the evening and even into the late hours of the night. I am well versed with newborn babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers and can handle four or more children at a time. My education includes first aid and CPR training from college and an ECA license. In addition to looking after children, I am adept at performing various household chores: cooking and preparing meals for children, children's laundry, adhering to special dietary rules, overall house cleaning, pet care, and helping with homework. I am fluent in English, French, Hindi, and Punjabi, which I love to teach children. I am a non-smoker, can swim well, and I have already performed a police check. Although I can't relocate, I am able to travel and I have Indian citizenship. Unfortunately, I don't have a driver's license or a personal vehicle. In my free time, I love to read, learn new languages, explore different cultures, and enjoy meaningful TV shows. I'm eager to apply these interests in educating and broadening the perspectives of the children I care for. I am confident that my strong work ethic, skill set, and friendly persona would make me a valuable nanny to any family.
I worked as a Childcare Assistant at Sparkling Day Care Kelowna, (I hold ECEA CERTIFICATION) caring for children aged 2 to 5. I supervised daily routines, helped with meals and nap time, and led fun activities like crafts and story time. I also kept the environment clean and safe and regularly communicated with parents. This experience taught me how to create a nurturing, safe space for children — skills I bring to every babysitting job. CERTIFICATIONS • Health care assistant certification-In Progress from Surrey.
