CAREGIVER WORKER AT ANGELS THERE FOR YOU HOMECARE (LANGLEY BC) - Assist with personal care support, personal hygiene, overall reassurance, comfort, and safety, including infection control and food safety. - Work in conjunction with the individuals we support to ensure their home is clean and well-maintained at all times, including daily food preparation and light housekeeping duties. - Promote positive mental, physical, and nutritional health with members. - Dispense medications. - Foster positive relationships with the person’s family members, professionals, co-workers, and members of the community. - Provide emotional support by talking to members about their needs and listening to their concerns. CHILD CARE WORKER, GRACEFUL HERITAGE CARE SERVICE - Support children, youth, and/or vulnerable adults in specialized homes and in the community. - Develop and deliver outreach programs to encourage the health and mental wellness of patients. - Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. - Perform household maintenance duties (preparing meals, cleaning, yard work, etc.) and administering medication. - Respond to emergencies in accordance with established policies and protocols. - Provide emotional and physical support. - Build positive working relationships with the youth, their families, community members, and other professionals. - Provide access to medications and monitor medication use as required. I can take care of 3 children at a time.
