My name is Jade and I am a 30 year old nanny. I recently moved here from Calgary and love it so far! I am incredibly experienced with children, I’ve been nannying for the past 8 years, babysat all through school and have always been surrounded by children as the eldest in my family. I may have been referred to as Mary Poppins once or twice! :) I have a HUGE passion for childcare and am always aiming to improve my skills too. I pride myself on my level of care and can promise you I put my everything into the children I work with. There is something really special about the trust of a parent and the bond created when nannying. My approach to childcare is very hands on, I’m incredibly active and love to get out of the house and explore, as well as craft and get artsy. I’m energetic, nurturing, and tremendously patient. I love watching kids grow, and helping them learn in a freeing and fun environment. And while safety and well-being will always be my priority, I do think it’s important for there to be continuity between the rules and structure you have in place so there’s no confusion for the children, and the same expectations are kept.
