My name is Megan and I am a dedicated nanny looking to continue my passion and love for kids in a household setting. I graduated in 2024 with an Elementary Education degree, and therefore have additional experience within the classroom as well. My passion for children was inspired at a young age, when I was asked to take care of my siblings and some of my family friends' young kids. I quickly grew to love the responsibility that came with the role of a babysitter, and evolved into my passion of becoming an elementary school teacher, and now as a nanny. During my many practicums issued throughout my degree, my passion for children only deepened, and I realized that I want to expand my experience and relationships within my community through nannying. I am an experienced, dedicated individual with a passion for making a positive impact in kids' lives. I played collegiate level tennis and have mastered the skill of multi-tasking and handling situations under pressure. I love to write, read, play all kinds of sports, and spend time with my friends and family. I am able to provide sufficient care for all ages, with most of my experience being with younger children within the ages of 4-6. My goal is to create a safe, nurturing environment, where children feel comfortable and are able to thrive. I am certified in First Aid and CPR, have experience in meal preparation and additional household tasks, as well as a little bit of tutoring experience as well. I am currently available for full or part-time care, and am looking forward to making meaningful relationships and memories within a family!

I have not worked as a nanny before, however I have many years of experience as a babysitter as well as classroom experience. I have had a lot of experience with children in both a household and educational setting. I completed my student teaching practicum in a kindergarten classroom, and that experience taught me so much about management and creating strategies to keep children engaged.
