Lilebeth O.
I'm a mom and currently studying Business Management in Canada. Before coming here, I finished my degrees in Business Administration and Office Secretarial in the Philippines. For over 10 years, I've worked in different jobs like nanny/housekeeping, sports, training, sales, and consulting all across the UAE. I've learned a lot about taking care of kids, selling things, marketing, and building strong relationships, especially in the Oil and Gas industry. Before moving to Canada, I spent two years in Al Ain, UAE, looking after four amazing kids aged 3 to 9. At first, it was tough because they didn't speak much English, but I learned their language so we could understand each other better. I really enjoyed helping them become more independent and teaching them about respect with love and care. When I'm not busy with work or school, I love exploring British Columbia, playing Mobile Legend, and watching Korean dramas on Netflix. It's not always easy to juggle everything, but I enjoy learning and trying new things. Right now, I'm looking for nanny jobs where I can use my experience to create a loving environment for kids to grow and learn.
I worked as a nanny in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, taking care of four wonderful children. They were ages 3, 7, and a set of twins who were 9 years old. When I first started, it wasn't easy because the children didn't speak English, they speak Arabic, and my employer only knew a few words in English. To bridge this gap, I made an effort to learn their language first so that we could communicate better. My days were filled with learning how to understand and connect with the kids. I spent a lot of time observing them, playing with them, and listening carefully to what they wanted to tell me. It took patience and persistence, but gradually, we built a strong bond. I took care of their daily activities, helped with their studies, and made sure they were safe and happy. At that time, I didn't have any children of my own, which made this experience both challenging and rewarding. Little did I know that the skills and lessons I learned would later help me tremendously in raising my own daughter. I learned how to be patient, caring, and how important it is to communicate well with children. These are skills that I still use every day as a parent.
