I am Rajwinder, a 22-years old. I was born and raised in the Philippines, but an Indian National. I came to Canada as an international student in 2021 and I graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in August 2023. Currently, I am a work permit holder and working in a superstore part-time for over three years. I also worked as a chairside dental assistant in the dental office and as a nurse assistant for my high school practicum back in the Philippines. I assisted my dentist/nurse in writing the patient's names in the log book, updating them, answering their calls or concerns, and assisting them with their health concerns. Additionally, I recently got my Early Childhood Educator Assistant certificate. Throughout my ECEA course, I have developed a keen understanding of how to effectively manage children's behavior, keep a safe place for children, as well as coordinate their play or learning in the daycare setting. Also, I have worked on multiple children's projects such as daycare and preschool which required meticulous ethics or genuine care for children. Furthermore, I love exploring the environment, eating, watching movies or series, playing badminton, playing with children, and cooking.

I work with school-aged children in a before- and after-school program. My responsibilities include preparing activities and snacks, ensuring a safe environment, and supporting their play and learning in a daycare setting. In addition, I take care of my colleague’s children, who are one and five years old. I accompany them to the playground and to activities such as skating and swimming, and I also help with feeding and daily care. Furthermore, I have experience working in a daycare with children aged 10 months to 5 years old.
