I recently graduated from UBC with my BA in Human Geography and will be returning to complete the PDP (teaching) program in September. Im looking to support a family during the school year but can be flexible for the right fit. I have recently re-taken up skating and swimming with my younger brother who was a disability. I have had the privilege of working with two amazing families this past year where I helped them with life skills. I also enjoy creating crafts with students in my daycare and running around on the playground together. I am nurturing and love to have fun and make memories with the ones I love. It is important that I find the right match with a family as building connections is so important as a caregiver.

Cambridge Learning Centre Inc. - Daycare facilitator April 2021 - Present Independently facilitate and design activities for a diverse group of 12-14 students from 5-12 years old. Assist with homework. Manage relationships and provide a structured and safe environment. Tutor Doctor, Surrey - Independent Tutor June 2020 - Present Design and implement learning materials for elementary-age students in a range of subjects including math, English and French. Work one-on-one and in small groups with students. Tutor children with disabilities. Classroom Volunteer at Fraserwood Elementary, Surrey October 2021 - ongoing Hours volunteered: 100 Work in tandem with the teachers to provide individual and class support. Create and perform lessons with guidance.
