My name is Nicole, I'm a positive-minded, energetic mom of 2 girls (7 and 5) living on our homestead in Sturgeon County. I am happily married to a Firefighter in Edmonton who works shift work. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats, chickens, baby chicks and bunnies! (Big Animal Lovers). We value family time and focus on being present and enjoying the little moments everyday. I'm currently looking for a few special families to assist, as I feel this is my calling in life. I am not available full time as my youngest daughter is still home on Tues/Thurs and every other Friday, however come summertime and Sept 2025, i will be available M-F from 9-2, with flexibility in longer hours as my husband is a shift worker and if he isn't working, I am able to. Right now I can work FOR SURE Mondays, Wednesdays, and every other Fridays from 9-2, but flexible with adding other days they will just be more random as I need to work around my husbands schedule. I am currently employed as a Paramedic in Edmonton AB. I have worked as a paramedic for just over 10 years, but I find that with how crazy things are these days, I'm looking for something slightly less stressful, that gives me the ability to connect more with people and help them out in the everyday. I occasionally pick up a shift here and there, but im following my heart more and more and it has lead me here. As a mom I struggled with supports, and feeling a sense of community during those first years with young babies. It can feel very demanding, isolating, and lonely. My passion involves helping families who just cannot maintain everything while staying sane, and while being able to remain present and patient. I am a huge empath, I believe in unity and treating everyone as equal, and that we truly need to help each other out more in a world that can seem so exhausting and stressful at times. I want to be the light you need to get back on your feet and stay there. I am well equipped to handle mental health challenges, children with anxiety, and am trained at the level of a paramedic so CPR both infant and adult is well-known. I have a criminal record check as well as drivers abstract. I am willing to help out with any and all requests, from childcare to providing friendship to cleaning your house. Please feel free to message me if you think we could make a good fit :) Paramedic for 10 years - have recently quit Helping family members and friends with their babies/ older children while offering housekeeping duties for over 10 years Healthcare Provider Level CPR and First Aid Experienced mom of 2 girls Specialize in gentle parenting Experienced Parent of Children with Anxiety

My name is Audrey. I am 30 years old and seeking full time work. I was previously nannying for a family in summerside for 2 years and now they are practically a second family to me. I think that is probably one of the best things about being a nanny. you become part of the family. In my opinion, one of the best things about me is how caring I am. I always think of others first in any situation. I love children. I am hoping to get into a future career that has something to do with helping children or even just being around them. I am very outgoing and athletic. I love all sports and outside activities. I come from a big family so I am a huge family person. I practically raised my little sister and my niece from when they were born. 7 years ago I started looking after a little boy named Nathan. He's not just like any other little boy though, he has a very serious heart condition. I watched him just over a year Monday to Friday. I still watch him sometimes here and there but he is like a little brother to me. I had a lot of challenges when I babysat Nathan. I had to give him certain medications, had to watch him closely for anything that changed. In 2017 I got back from a year abroad in Spain working as an Aupair. if you don't know what that is, it's where someone from another country comes into your home and they teach your kid english and look after them but you also give them room and board and weekly pay. It was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. if you need to know anything else about me I am more than willing to tell. I have many years of experience working with children. I also have my first aid/CPR although it just expired. Would be willing to get my recertification. I am Looking forward to talking to you:) I have looked after many children. I have more than 6 years experience. I cared for a little boy with special attention needed. When your child is in my care I will make sure that their safety is my main focus. As well as their happiness. I am a very fun and loving person so I will always make sure they are happy and having fun. I will also teach your kids new things. I will read to them, play with them, do puzzles with them, take them outside. When I am babysitting, it doesn't feel like it's a "job" to me because I enjoy spending time with children. If there is anything else you want to know please don't hesitate to ask. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: I am first aid certified. I also was previously a lifeguard. So I have all of my courses for that but unfortunately they are expired.

Full-Time, Part-Time • Live-Out
I'm Jetta, a 24-year-old nanny, based in Edmonton. I carry three years of hands-on experience caring for children aged 4 months to 3 years, as I have spent the past several years as a full-time nanny to my beautiful nieces - an experience I cherish and term as the "best job ever". Alongside my practical experience, I bring a strong educational backing as I'm currently pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Women's and Gender Studies from the University of Alberta. This unique combination of field experience and studying allows me to understand children's emotional and cognitive developments. My availability stretches across the whole week, from mornings until evenings, so I can cater to various family schedules conveniently. I am also comfortable working with children with disabilities, bringing my patience and understanding to the forefront. As for the duties I can perform, my broad range includes cooking, light housekeeping, doing children's and family laundry, preparing children's meals, helping with homework, and even adhering to specific dietary rules. I can also walk the dog or assist in other pet care if needed! Outside of my nanny endeavours, I am passionate about reading, knitting, and embroidery, and I am currently learning how to sew. Apart from these hobbies, I am proudly on the board of directors of the summer camp I used to attend, where I train the staff and help them overcome any challenges they may face. Lastly, I hold certifications in First Aid and CPR, ensuring the safety of your children. I'm ready to start immediately and committed to providing your children with a nurturing environment. Depending upon the family's need, I am open to both full-time and part-time roles. However, as I am attending university, I do prefer a live-out arrangement. Looking forward to potentially working with your family! In October of 2021 my sister went back to work 4 months after having her daughter, Molly. I took care of my Molly full-time Monday to Friday from the time she was 4 months old to 2.5 years old. When my sister welcomed her second daughter, Peyton, I again took over her daily care and Molly went to Daycare. I wrapped up my time as their Nanny this past December as Peyton is heading to daycare in the new year. It was 3 years full of sleep training, playing, reading and was the most rewarding job I have ever had. I am comfortable preparing meals, whether it is formula or food for older kids. Beyond Nannying I grew up volunteering at a sleep away summer camp for kids aged 6-16, then worked there for a couple years in various roles and am now on the board of directors so I have a lot of experience with kids in that regard as well.
