I have been married to my husband for 28 years. We have no children, but I have had extensive experience with all children for most of my life. I began babysitting as a young teen and continued in the field until I retired in 2021. I have worked with a variety of children and adults with diverse special needs throughout those years and enjoy them immensely. I also enjoy collaborating with the parents and wider community. My interests include reading, exercise, different cultures, religious studies and more. I am a hard worker and enjoy using my creativity to find ways to communicate with the children.

I worked as an E.A. in the St. Albert Public School system for 10 years in a special needs class. I worked at St. Albert Daycare (both part-time and full-time) for 7 years. I worked at Transitions Association of St. Albert (both part-time and full-time) for 25 years, with adults and children with special needs. I worked at Elves Memorial Child Development Centre for 2 years full time.

I have a Level 1 childcare certification.
