My name is Nicole, I'm a positive-minded, energetic mom of 2 girls (7 and 5) living on our homestead in Sturgeon County. I am happily married to a Firefighter in Edmonton who works shift work. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats, chickens, baby chicks and bunnies! (Big Animal Lovers). We value family time and focus on being present and enjoying the little moments everyday. I'm currently looking for a few special families to assist, as I feel this is my calling in life. I am not available full time as my youngest daughter is still home on Tues/Thurs and every other Friday, however come summertime and Sept 2025, i will be available M-F from 9-2, with flexibility in longer hours as my husband is a shift worker and if he isn't working, I am able to. Right now I can work FOR SURE Mondays, Wednesdays, and every other Fridays from 9-2, but flexible with adding other days they will just be more random as I need to work around my husbands schedule. I am currently employed as a Paramedic in Edmonton AB. I have worked as a paramedic for just over 10 years, but I find that with how crazy things are these days, I'm looking for something slightly less stressful, that gives me the ability to connect more with people and help them out in the everyday. I occasionally pick up a shift here and there, but im following my heart more and more and it has lead me here. As a mom I struggled with supports, and feeling a sense of community during those first years with young babies. It can feel very demanding, isolating, and lonely. My passion involves helping families who just cannot maintain everything while staying sane, and while being able to remain present and patient. I am a huge empath, I believe in unity and treating everyone as equal, and that we truly need to help each other out more in a world that can seem so exhausting and stressful at times. I want to be the light you need to get back on your feet and stay there. I am well equipped to handle mental health challenges, children with anxiety, and am trained at the level of a paramedic so CPR both infant and adult is well-known. I have a criminal record check as well as drivers abstract. I am willing to help out with any and all requests, from childcare to providing friendship to cleaning your house.
