I work on a 2 weeks on - 2 weeks off. I am a Chemical Engineering professional, but my long term goal in life is to go to UofA medical school. During my days off, I volunteer in different organizations in Edmonton both in health-care and non-healthcare settings, indulging with people of different age groups from all social levels. I love working with people of all ages. Relevant experience: 1) My mom used to work as a part time-babysitter. So there were kids at home always, and I support her childcare work. 2) TerraCentre - I work closely with teenage parents and their children 3) UofA - USchool mentor - Mentor and tutor school students of all ages, mostly from socially vulnerable neighborhoods in and around Edmonton. 4) Pilgrims Hospice - Direct patient support volunteer 5) Royal Alexandra Hospital and Cross Cancer Research Institute - Wayfinder, Porter and Sunroom cafe volunteer I would love to work with a family who needs my support and wants the best care for their loved ones :)
