I’m Ivey — a playful, grounded childcare worker with a soft spot for curious minds and creative messes.
I’m based in Québec, QC, and I offer childcare with engaging activities, gentle support, and help with meal prep. I’ve worked with school-aged kids as a camp animateur, hosted art workshops, and have experience as an au pair — so I’m very comfortable with children from diverse backgrounds, including neurodivergent kids and those with unique sensitivities.
Why hire me? I genuinely love kids, bring both structure and warmth, and create an environment where they feel safe, seen, and free to be themselves.
I’m available mornings until 6:00 p.m., and open to part-time or flexible arrangements.
If this sounds like your family’s vibe, I’d love to connect.
I’ve worked with children in a variety of playful, creative, and supportive settings. I was a camp animateur, where I led activities for school-aged kids and learned how to keep groups engaged, safe, and having fun. I’ve also hosted art workshops for children, guiding them through hands-on projects and encouraging their creativity. In addition, I worked as an au pair, supporting daily routines, helping with meals, and accompanying kids through their day with patience and consistency. And for years while I was in Cégep, I tutored younger students in school subjects, which strengthened my ability to explain things with patience and clarity.
Across all these roles, I’ve worked with kids from diverse backgrounds, including those who are neurodivergent or have specific sensitivities, which has made me adaptable, attentive, and confident in providing individualized care.
