My name is Eleni and I'm a 19-year-old University student currently preparing to embark on my second year of studies! I've been blessed with the opportunity to grow up as the eldest of four children, which has instilled in me a natural ability to take care of young children. I’d like to say I get along pretty well with my siblings and have played a key role in their development, as they are now entering their teenage years. I have experience caring for children between the ages of 3 and 12, and I am more than willing to work with children who are younger or older. I truly enjoy spending time with kids and creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where they can learn, grow, and have fun. Some of my personal interests include reading and writing, knitting and crocheting, crafting, jewelry-making, and staying active through exercise. I love incorporating these hobbies into the activities I plan for children, helping them explore their own creativity while learning new skills. I also enjoy organizing hands-on projects that encourage imagination and focus, and I’m always happy to tailor activities based on each child’s interests. I strongly believe in helping children find a healthy balance with technology, so I aim to provide fun, screen-free activities that support social, emotional, and cognitive development. I have experience babysitting for several families in my local community over the past four years. One of my main roles was caring for two children, ages 10 and 12 in the evenings while their parents were at work. This included preparing meals, engaging the children in educational games and activities, helping with bedtime routines, and ensuring their overall safety and well-being. I also occasionally helped with light housekeeping related to the children, such as tidying up toys and doing their laundry. In another role, I assisted a family with three children (ages 4, 6, and 9) during school holidays. I organized daily schedules including outdoor play, reading time, and crafts.
