Victoria C.
My name is Victoria, and I live in Richmond Hill, ON. I work full-time (Mon-Fri) as an Executive Assistant to the President & CEO of a large Asset Management firm in Toronto, ON. My job involves extensive calendar management and travel throughout the GTA to oversee multiple properties and handle day-to-day errands. Additionally, I assist their immediate family, particularly their mother who is in her 80s, by booking and attending health appointments, arranging car services, managing bill payments, and spending quality time together. I approach everything I do with kindness, patience, and understanding, which has contributed to my career success. I graduated with a diploma in Executive Office Administration from Sheridan College in 2020. Prior to this role, I worked in customer service for over 10 years in various positions, giving me a deep understanding of excellent customer service. At the age of 20, I boarded a plane for the first time to become an Au Pair in Switzerland for a transformative two-year experience. This decision greatly impacted my career, enhancing my skills in time and calendar management, organization, and responsibility. Despite the language barrier (minimal English and French), I built a strong bond with the family and continue to maintain close contact with them. As the father often traveled for work, the mother and I managed the household together. The youngest daughter had suffered severe burns in a house fire just before my arrival, leading to numerous doctor's appointments, specialized care, and extra attention to help her through recovery. I am proud to see her thriving as a pre-teen now, knowing I played a role in her formative years. I am actively involved in the lives of my six nieces and nephews, all aged 10 and under. I enjoy spending time with them and being a part of their upbringing, focusing on instilling structure, manners, and kindness. My love for working with children has been consistent throughout my life.
