My name is Mazzy, and I have experience both nannying and working in a daycare setting. I have cared for children ages 6 months to 12 years through a combination of positions including nanny, daycare teacher, support-worker, and camp-counsellor. I have had the privilege to work with a wide variety of children, and because of this I have developed an arsenal of tools for situations like helping children to sleep, resolving conflicts, connecting with shy children, or comforting a frustrated child. I am confident with household tasks like cleaning, laundry, and dishes. I am certified in First Aid and CPR, and I've obtained the "Responsible Adult" certification necessary for daycare work. I am also comfortable looking after pets! I nannied in a house with both a dog and a cat, and I have direct pet-sitting experience with dogs, cats, and even a bearded dragon. I have an N drivers license, a car, and experience regularly transporting a child. I am happy to provide meal-prep if requested and I am familiar with allergy precautions. Nanny to a 4 year old boy for about 6 months (until he moved), caring for and entertaining him during the days. BrightStart Childrens Academy (Daycare) for a year and a half.
