Let me introduce myself, my name is Amber , I am 21 years old. I grew up in a small town. I grew up living out in the country. I enjoy being outdoors, love interacting with people and trying new adventures. I am currently working at Nicks Lawn & Property Maintenance in Grand Bend ON. I have been babysitting since I was 15 years old. The hobbies I enjoy doing are drag racing, camping, operating steam engines. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family. I have babysat for families who have dog(s), cat(s) and other animals. I do not have any pet allergies. I am a very active person. I play volleyball, badminton and go horse back riding. I prefer being outside then sitting on the couch. I do enjoy a relaxing movie day as well on not so nice weather outside. I have my valid G drivers license, a clean drivers record and I have a truck that I have access to 24/7. I will travel with your family on trips/ vacations (if needed). I love animals of all breeds and sizes. Will feed pets (if you have any), if you live in town I can take the dog(s) for a walk. I will help the kids clean up their toys when they are done playing with them, I will give snacks and prepare lunch. To give you a little more information about my nanny experiences, I recently took care of a little girl who is on the autistic spectrum. She couldn't walk or talk. I did some research on how to improve her motor skills at home. After we did those exercises on a daily routine, I noticed her starting to get stronger so I did some deeper research on water therapy to help her build up strength in her legs and hips so she could start standing and potentially start walking. She was only 1 year old. Childcare up to 3 kids at one time. Ages: 5 months old - 10 years old. Children were on a daily routine: breakfast, snack, lunch, clean up time, relax time, nap time. I helped with night time routine: bath time, brushing teeth, getting dressed into pyjamas, bed time story Grade 11 got my CPR training Graduated Grade 12 in 2019 from North Lambton Secondary School in Forest, ON.

I am a student who is currently studying in the Concurrent Education program at Brock University. I love working with children and youth and I am excited to finish my education and began working with children in the school setting as a teacher. As an individual I would describe myself as a very empathetic, responsible, and patient person, especially when working with children and youth. I have experience babysitting/nannying for other families, my cousins, as well additional family friends. In addition, through my program, I have had experience tutoring students as well as working in the classroom with children. I have had experience taking care of my cousins and children of family friends from a young age.
