Hello, I'm Marya, a 17-year-old high school senior from Pickering with a passion for social science, media, reading, writing, film, and music. As an older sister to two younger brothers, my experience in childcare extends beyond my professional experience of 2 years. I can naturally incorporate into my role activities like reading and music which I love, adding value to services I provide. My service repertoire includes cooking, light housekeeping, homework assistance, children's laundry, pet care, and maintaining a tidy kitchen. I have experience caring for children of all ages, from babies (1-2 years) to pre-adolescents (over 10 years), with the ability to juggle care for up to three children. I am available part-time mainly in the evenings from Wednesday to Sunday, and I have wider availability on Saturdays which extend to mornings and middle of day as well. As a live-out nanny, I'm equipped to start immediately and deliver my services with dedication. In addition, my First Aid and CPR training equip me to handle emergencies effectively, providing a safe and secure environment for your kids. My role mainly is a babysitter—I am committed to caring for your children in the best way, ensuring their needs are met while tending to some house chores. I have two younger siblings aged 10, and 13 that I spend a lot of time with. I spend many mornings, and afternoons looking after them. This includes cooking, doing laundry, cleaning and tidying up after them. I have also worked at a daycare from September 2023, to January 2024. I looked after children from the ages of 1 to 3. My responsibilities ranged from cleaning, coming up with activities for the kids, reading, colouring, singing and playing.
