I have had the opportunity to work as a childcare assistant at both a preschool and an academy, where I helped support children's learning and growth. At the preschool, my role included preparing meals, assisting with bathroom routines, and supervising children during playtime. I worked closely with the teachers to set up fun and educational activities like arts and crafts, storytime, and sensory play, which helped foster creativity and early learning. I also helped the kids with basic skills like counting, letter recognition, and simple puzzles, keeping them engaged and excited about learning. I was also involved in helping older preschoolers get ready for kindergarten, guiding them through school readiness activities. At the academy, I worked with a wider age range of children and helped out in the classroom as well as with extracurricular activities.
