My name is Huy, a 17-year-old man from Scarborough. I have one year of formal experience working with children, but my love for engaging with little ones began a while back. I spent an entire summer volunteering with children and learned the importance of organization from my role as vice president of a community club in my school. Even though my main tasks were related to time tables and human resources, the experience honed my time management and people skills, which I find useful in working as a nanny. I'm proficient in English, Japanese, Mandarin, and Vietnamese, and I'm comfortable to use these languages to foster bilingual development in kids. I also have experience with children aged between 1-3 and 3-5 years. I'm open to various roles such as babysitter, nanny or nanny/housekeeper. Light housekeeping, running errands, grocery shopping, assisting with homework, bathing and dressing children, and ironing their clothing are all within my scope of duties. I am available part-time during the middle of the day from Monday to Sunday. Seeking a live-in or live-out arrangement, I am ready to start immediately. While I can't relocate, I am willing to travel. However, even though I don't have a driver's license or a vehicle for work, I compensate for these by being a strong swimmer, a non-smoker, and having the ability to work with children with disabilities.
