Gianna B.
I am a responsible, caring, and patient individual based in the Pickering area. I recently graduated from Centennial College with a diploma in Community and Justice Services and have experience supporting children, youth, and vulnerable populations in both recreational and residential environments. I previously worked as a camp counsellor where I supervised children, planned activities, and helped create a fun and safe environment. I also volunteered with Montrose Strength-Based Support Services where I provided trauma-informed support in a residential setting, which helped me develop strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills. In my free time I enjoy staying active, spending time outdoors, and doing creative activities. I naturally enjoy working with children and creating positive environments where they feel safe, supported, and encouraged to learn and grow. I am currently available for evening and overnight babysitting and would love to support families who need reliable and trustworthy childcare.
I have hands-on experience working with children as a camp counselor, at Sky Zone, and at Montrose Strength-Based Support Services. I am skilled in creating safe, engaging environments, supporting children with a variety of personalities and needs, and facilitating activities that promote learning, creativity, and fun. I am patient, responsible, and attentive, ensuring routines such as meals, homework, and bedtime run smoothly while fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere for every child.
