I have an adult child with giftedness and other special learning needs, who required active participation and homework assistance until well into secondary school. I have looked after children for the past 30 years, assisting them with all levels of homework including literacy, music theory, and reading comprehension. I have also worked as a proofreader/ copyeditor as well as a community support worker for public health agencies and NGOs.
