I am a friendly, caring, responsible, and easy-going person. I completed my university studies in Science, with a major in Mathematics, in Ottawa. I come from a large family, which has taught me a lot about being patient, supportive, understanding, and comfortable around different personalities. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and I have recently started getting more into fitness and working out. I love going on walks and hikes, spending time outdoors, and enjoying beautiful sunsets. I also really enjoy cooking, listening to music, discovering new places, and spending quality time with my family and friends. I would describe myself as someone who enjoys the simple things in life, loves to laugh, and appreciates creating good memories with the people around me. I am also naturally caring and dependable, which is one of the reasons I enjoy working with children. With my background in Mathematics and French, I am also happy to help with homework or tutoring when needed. I have experience working with young children in a childcare and school-based environment as an Educator/Guide. In my role at La Coccinelle, I supervised and supported children throughout their daily routines while creating a safe, positive, and welcoming environment. My responsibilities included supervising children during indoor and outdoor activities, organizing age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, assisting with meals and snacks, supporting children with their daily needs, and encouraging positive behaviour and social development. I also helped children develop independence, communication skills, creativity, and confidence through play and structured activities. I am patient, caring, responsible, and attentive to children’s individual needs. I am comfortable supervising multiple children at the same time and handling challenging behaviours calmly and respectfully. Children’s safety and well-being are always my priority, and I enjoy creating an environment where they can learn, play, and feel supported. In addition to childcare, I can also provide tutoring and homework assistance in Mathematics and French. I enjoy helping children understand new concepts, complete their schoolwork, and build confidence in their academic abilities.
