My name is Geraldine, and I'm originally from Colombia, currently living in Ottawa, Canada. I'm bilingual in English and Spanish, and I'm actively learning French, excited to keep growing and connecting with new cultures along the way. With over four years of experience in childcare and early learning environments, I have worked with children across a wide range of ages and needs, from toddlers to school-age youth. In my current role as a Educator at Kids Kingdom Daycare, I support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development while maintaining health and safety standards. Previously, at College-Montrose Children's Place, I delivered direct programming for children from newcomer families and those with developmental delays, adapting activities to meet diverse individual needs. As a Nanny, I managed daily routines and fostered independence in two school-aged children through structured, nurturing care. I also ran after-school programming for children aged 6–11 at Birchmount Community Action Council, designing inclusive activities focused on social development, leadership, and cultural expression. Throughout all these roles, I have built trusting relationships with children and families, maintained safe environments, and consistently communicated with parents to support each child's growth and well-being.
