I am a 48-year-old woman with 20 years of experience working as a nanny. I currently reside in Ottawa and I am available to start immediately. I have a flexible schedule, with availability on various days and times, including mornings, mid-days, and evenings throughout the week. I am a non-smoker, CPR and First Aid trained, and can swim well. I am a mother myself and have experience working with children of all ages, including those with disabilities. I have my own children, they are teenagers now. As a nurse I have cared for children in emergengy room situations. I have cousins, nieces and nephews and have a solid group of friends, many with children. I am definately familiar with ages and stages. I would feel comfortable to guide/teach your child from where they are at and or think of age appropriate activities such as; coloring, painting, crafts, workbooks, crochet, knitting, cross stitch, baking, pet care, chores, toilet training, etc.
