I am a 55-year-old single mother of a 24-year-old daughter who has some time on my hands. As a single mom, I know how hard it can be to find great child care when family does not live close by. Originally from the East Coast, I am fluently bilingual in English and French and am now looking for part-time work in the evenings and on weekends. I have been working with children since I was very young and have always enjoyed caring for children of all ages. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Although my first aid certification is currently out of date, I am willing to take the course again if necessary. When my daughter was 9 months old, I owned and operated my own home daycare until she was almost 4 years old. I then re-entered the workforce, using my second degree in Office Management to provide for my family of two.

Since working in daycare in 1991 while getting my BA in Child Studies, and then running my own home daycare I have always enjoyed working with Children. Once I because a single mom I had to find a job that provided for my family and therefore turned to my other College degree of Office management and now and a Full Time Employee of the Federal Government with National Defence.
