I am a mature care-giver that understands and delivers high quality care through an attentive, caring model. I am insightful and skilled in knowing and responding to infants and children’s needs. I am a kind, compassionate and caring individual. I comprehend the importance of a nurturing presence for their emotional, physical and mental well-being. Their childhood is a time of rapid growth and development and a great opportunity for helping shape them. Leading and following through play and curiosity makes their learning time enjoyable. I believe it is important to work closely with parents as I have done over the years to provide consistency and continuity. I am a lifelong learner with a wide variety of interests, and take online courses & classes to improve myself and general knowledge. I am interested in being healthy and outdoors and active. I enjoy hiking/walking, kayaking, biking etc. I have a lifelong love of music and art as well. I really enjoy sharing these interests with kids. I am currently working full-time in a nanny position which is coming to completion. I am looking for a full-time, live-out position. I can be flexible with the schedule depending on parents', my, and the childrens' needs. Hopefully this begins to paint a picture of me and more can be discussed in the next stages.

I have over 30 years of experience, starting out as an evening babysitter, moving onto full-day care, and raising my own two well-adjusted and successful children - one an engineer and one a biologist. I have been a camp counselor, a nursery school volunteer, a volunteer teacher, teacher helper, and a support person for a special needs adult child. I have experience dealing with food allergies, illnesses, asthma, and ADHD behavioral needs. I am careful, contentious, kind, caring, cheerful, attentive, compassionate, empathetic, have a deep sense of understanding, am educated, a good listener, patient, and clean and health-oriented.
