My name is Naveen and I’m 20 years old. I’ve always loved being around kids and caring for them just feels natural to me. I spent 16 wonderful months with a lovely family where I mainly cared for their baby from the time she was just 3 weeks old until she turned 17 months. I was fully responsible for her daily care, including feeding, bathing, folding her laundry, putting her to sleep, playing with her, and everything in between. While my focus was on the little one, I also occasionally spent time with their older children which gave me the chance to connect with different age groups and learn how to support their unique needs. In addition to childcare, I helped with light household tasks such as loading and unloading the dishwasher, tidying up the kitchen at the end of the day, wiping down the counters, putting food away, and picking up toys. Outside of that I’ve also spent a lot of time babysitting my younger cousins who range in age from 6 months to 10 years. Whether it is playing, helping with routines, or just being there to listen, I truly enjoy being part of a child’s everyday life. I am really easygoing, patient, and gentle when it comes to caregiving. I always take the time to talk with kids and help them understand things in a kind and calm way. I love encouraging good habits like being kind, helpful, and respectful in a way that feels natural, fun, and age appropriate. I previously worked full-time as a nanny for one family for 17 months, caring for their little one from just 3 weeks old until she was 17 months. I’ve also done occasional babysitting for a few other families.

I’m currently an ACCA student (similar to the CPA but based in the UK). Since my studies are online, I can create my own schedule, which gives me a lot of flexibility.
