Emma J.
My name is Emma! I recently graduated from St. Lawrence College with a diploma in Early Childhood Education and have experience working with children of different ages through jobs in childcare centres and school placements. While I have not worked as a nanny before, I am very excited to begin. I am currently based in Kingston but will be relocating to the Gatineau–Ottawa area very soon. One of the main reasons I’m drawn to nannying is the chance to work with fewer children at a time. This makes it easier to focus on each child’s individual needs and interests, while helping them build both their skills and confidence. I enjoy creating fun, engaging activities, supporting learning through play, and encouraging positive routines. I grew up as a military child, so I’m very adaptable and understand the importance of flexibility and building connections quickly. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, going for long walks, and staying active. Families can count on me to be dependable, caring, and committed to making sure children feel safe, supported, and happy.
