By trade, I'm a hairstylist, who has been doing hair on and off for 5 years - but as i'm approaching my last year in the Community and Justice Services program, my focus is to work a fun and highly motivating job, such as Nanny, personal assistant and everything in between. I'm someone who loves to learn new things, I'm outgoing and always down for an adventure - AKA I'm good at making day plans that work for you and the kids. Child Youth Worker - Evolving Youth Care (Ottawa, ON) - group home setting with youth with different needs - Trained in TCI restraints - travelled to and from activities, school, medical appointments ect with youth - cooked, cleaned, implemented proper hygiene and routine for youth - managed the environment and used therapeutic crisis intervention do deescalate situations - Distributed medications and filled out daily MAR and PRN forms.
