My name is Laura and I am a creative go-getter that loves working with children. I am an aspiring teacher and value all time worked with children. I love nothing more than helping kids reach their full potential. My favourite thing to teach is art, I love seeing their creativity and sense of identity flourish. In my spare time I create a lot, whether that be paintings, sewing and knitting clothing or baking bread and pastries. I also really value being eco-conscious, and love teaching kids about mending/taking care of clothing as well as other environmentally friendly crafts and activities. I have a background in gymnastics as well as chemistry, which I love to share with children as well.

I have a long history working with children in different settings. I started off by working as a recreational and competitive rhythmic gymnastics coach for 8 years, where I worked with ages 4-18. I also have private babysitting and nanny experience, on and off for about 7 years. Most recently I have worked as an ECE for 4 years. I worked at a public childcare in a school, and worked with children aged 1-12.
