Madison M.
I am a responsible and caring individual with a strong background in childcare, tutoring, and customer service. Growing up in a close-knit family with siblings and many younger cousins, I’ve been surrounded by children my whole life and have essentially been helping to raise kids from a young age. This natural experience has shaped my ability to connect with children and confidently manage their care. In addition to my personal experience, I’ve worked as a nanny for both infants and school-aged children, including managing busy households with multiple kids and pets. I’ve also worked as a professional tutor, supporting students in subjects like math, English, and French, which allows me to incorporate educational, engaging activities into daily routines. I am currently completing my Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa, where I’ve developed strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Fluent in English, French, and Spanish, I’m comfortable working with diverse families and enjoy introducing children to new languages and cultures. In my free time, I enjoy running, baking, and spending time outdoors. I’m known for being patient, organized, and energetic, with a natural ability to multitask and keep children engaged and safe. Whether it’s helping with homework, planning creative activities, or maintaining daily routines, I’m dedicated to providing supportive, high-quality care while making life easier for parents.
I worked as a nanny for two consecutive summers for a family with two working parents, caring for their son from when he was 9 months old through his toddler years. My responsibilities included daily childcare, meal preparation, engaging in age-appropriate activities to support his development, and light housekeeping. Additionally, I provided nanny services for another family with four children, ranging in age from 1 to 9 years old, along with caring for their three dogs. In this role, I managed a busy household—organizing activities, preparing meals, assisting with school routines, supervising playtime, and handling light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment. These experiences strengthened my ability to multitask, stay organized, and provide attentive care in dynamic family settings. In addition to my childcare experience, I have worked as a professional tutor, supporting students in various subjects, which has enhanced my ability to create educational and engaging activities for children. I am fluent in English, French, and Spanish, which allows me to communicate effectively with diverse families and introduce children to multiple languages in daily interactions.
