My name is Evelyn and I am located in Kanata. I am a lively, caring and responsible 19 year old who has several years of rich experience working with children. In the past, I worked at a summer camp and horseback riding program with children between the ages of 5-10. I have a younger sibling and several family friends whose children I have taken care of while parents are away. My working days and hours have a lot of flexibility which allows me to be available throughout the entire week, be it morning, afternoon, evening or night. My experience includes performing a variety of tasks such as cooking, light housekeeping, running errands, grocery shopping, preparing meals for kids, transporting children, doing laundry and even tasks like pet care. As an honours student, my skills extend to helping with homework, but I'm also comfortable adhering to special dietary rules and maintaining a tidy environment. As well, I'm capable and comfortable working with children with disabilities. I am willing and able to assist in a variety of needs, and I believe this makes me a reliable and trusted person to have around your children. My preferred arrangement is Live-Out and I am seeking a part-time position at the moment. My education includes a high school diploma, but I am currently enrolled at the University of Toronto expecting to graduate in 2028. I am excited and eager to start working from 01.05.2025 and am looking forward to contributing positively to a family in need of my services.

BABYSITTING | 2016 - PRESENT | After completing the Red Cross Babysitting training in 2016, I have been babysitting and taking care of children ever since. Through these jobs, I developed responsibility, decisiveness, and communication skills which have helped me succeed in roles requiring these assets. JUNIOR COUNSELLOR (VOLUNTEER) 5 Star Camps | June 2019 - August 2019 As a junior counsellor, I assisted senior staff with setting up stations and helping the campers transition between activities. By helping with a number of different age groups, I gained experience working with children of all ages in a fast-paced environment. PET SITTING / HOUSE SITTING | 2022 - PRESENT | I have been trusted with caring for people’s pets and taking care of their homes while they are away for many years now. By following strict routines set by employers, I completed tasks such as feeding animals on time, administering medication, and ensuring animals in my care met their daily exercise needs.
