Hello! My name is Hemi. I'm a second-year Bachelor of Commerce student specializing in Information Systems. I'm passionate about both technology and business and aim to make a positive difference in people's lives. I live in Ottawa in the Beacon Hill area, I am bilingual and can communicate fluently in both French and English. In my free time, I love trying new recipes and reading. I consider myself meticulous, adaptable, and kind. My friendly demeanor along with my positive, creative energy allows me to easily connect with others, embrace new challenges, and—most importantly—build strong relationships with the children I care for. Though I'm new to this field, I'm a fast learner and eager to work with children. I offer flexible availability, typically on Saturday and Sunday mornings and midday, as well as Wednesday and Thursday mornings. In addition to childcare, I'm happy to undertake additional tasks such as cooking, light housekeeping, running errands, meal preparation for kids, laundry, helping with homework, accommodating special dietary needs, and organizing events. I'm also comfortable caring for pets. With my experience in caring for children aged between 3 and 9, and those older than 10, I can capably manage up to three children at once. I am currently looking for a live-out, part-time position as a Babysitter, Nanny, Nanny/Housekeeper, or Nanny/Tutor. I volunteered as a camp counselor with MIFO at l'Odyssée public elementary school in March 2021. I supervised and participated in educational activities with elementary school children, teaching them to maintain cleanliness and behave respectfully towards others.
