Ever since I’ve worked at a summer camp last summer, I realized how much I actually love being around and taking care of children. However, even when I didn’t have any experience in working with kids, when I was younger and still now I occasionally take care of my ’s friends little kids. I spend time with them, make them eat and a lot of other things. I also own a dog we’ve had her for about 6 years now, but I had a lot of pets before so I’m more than comfortable around pets. This may seem weird for some people but I really like when everything is clean, so I will gladly go out of my way to clean something that doesn’t necessarily need to be cleaned. That said if you ever need me to clean your house, it wouldn’t be a problem. My first language is French so it is not a problem if you need me to speak to your child in french at all! I had a summer job at Pedalheads, a bike summer camp. I had to take care of 5-6 children alone each week and I had different groups each week. I was either helping them with being comfortable with biking or teaching them everything from the beginning. I had to supervise them all day long on the site as well as when we would go out on the road and make sure everyone was safe and sound. I either had to take care of the children for the whole day, so from 8:00-16:00 or only for an afternoon or a morning class.
