My name is Sonia, a highly experienced babysitter living in Ottawa. I have spent the last five years caring for children, their meals, laundry, and other housekeeping tasks. In fact, I have been in love with this job since I was 10, as I used to look after my siblings and cousins, cooking and playing games with them. I am available for full-time as well as part-time positions, primarily in the middle part of the day and the evenings from Monday to Friday. I'm also available all day during weekends. I am prepared to commit immediately and effectively cater for the needs of up to four children at a time. It's worth saying that I have firsthand experience caring for newborns through to children aged 9 years. My duties extend beyond childcare; I am prepared to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, preparing meals for kids, doing children's laundry, ironing children's clothing and also helping children with their homework. If family pets have to be cared for or walked, I can do that as well. I always adhere to special dietary rules where required. To reinforce my commitment to this profession, I have supplemented my high school education with First Aid Training and CPR training. I believe these skills are essential for any responsible caregiver, and families can trust in my ability to provide a safe environment for their children. Although I don't have my driver's license yet and am unable to travel, I am a non-smoker and have passed my police check. my heart is in serving families in my local community.
