From a young age, I found myself surrounded by the delightful chaos that comes with caring for children. My mother, a dedicated provider with Andrew Fleck Childcare Services for over a decade, has always been my inspiration. Growing up in her bustling childcare environment, I learned the ropes of nurturing and engaging young minds while having a blast! As I spent my afternoons helping my mom with her five little charges, I quickly became the unofficial assistant in our home. Imagine a whirlwind of laughter and energy as we played games, crafted colorful masterpieces, and shared stories during snack time! My main responsibilities included supervising playtime, preparing meals, and ensuring everyone was safe and happy. With five children to care for, every day was an adventure filled with giggles and the occasional minor mishap—like when we accidentally turned the living room into a fort made of cushions! Through this experience, I developed a keen understanding of each child's unique personality and needs. Whether it was calming a toddler's tears or encouraging a shy child to join in on the fun, I learned how to be patient, empathetic, and creative in my approach to childcare. In addition to my family duties, I took on the role of babysitter for my neighbors’ children on both sides of our home. This was another chapter in my childcare journey that brought its own set of delightful challenges.
