Finley B.
Hello there! I'm Finley, and I'm thrilled you've stopped by my profile. If you're looking for someone who's not just a caregiver, but a loving companion for your little ones, you've come to the right place! With over 8 years of childcare experience, I've learned that every child is both unique and important, and I cherish the opportunity to be involved in their growth and developmental journey. Whether it's crafting imaginative adventures, enjoying being outside in nature, or simply assisting with homework, it's my goal to make sure you're child feels safe, nurtured, and inspired every step of the way. My approach to childcare is rooted in warmth, patience, and open communication. I believe building strong bonds with both children and parents is critical to the caregiving journey. Rest-assured, your child's development, well-being, and happiness, are my number one priority. Every superhero needs a sidekick, and that's what I want to be! Whether it's childcare focused tasks, or cooking, cleaning, and running errands, I'm here to help you be the best version of yourself you can be! When I'm not strumming on my guitar, tickling the ivories of the piano, or crooning a tune, you might find me immersed in the pages of a classic novel, as I'm pursuing my studies in English Literature. Cooking and baking are not just chores to me; they're opportunities to delight in the joy of creating something delicious to share with loved ones. What sets me apart is not just my experience and skills, but my compassionate, extroverted, and energetic nature. I thrive on forming genuine connections with both children and families, bringing enthusiasm and positivity to every interaction. With years of experience under my belt, along with a genuine love for what I do, I'm committed to providing your family with the the utmost, care, reliability, and peace of mind. I can't wait to meet you and your little ones!
I have worked as a babysitter for over 8 years with children of all ages, including infants. Furthermore, I have worked as an overnight camp-counsellor at Upper Canada Village, where I was often in charge of caring for over 15 children (ages 8-14) on my own while providing an immersive historical experience. I am first-aid certified, and am extremely well-practiced in emotion-coaching children. My mother is an Early Childhood Educator and Early Literacy Specialist, which has provided me with both hands-on and theoretical practice in caring for children in effective, educational, and enjoyable ways.
