Liv L.
I'm Liv, a child psychology Master’s student based in Ottawa. For the last decade, I've devoted myself to nurturing and empowering children across all age groups and circumstances, especially those with neurodevelopmental conditions, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD. Backed by my comprehensive training in First Aid, CPR, and Nanny Certification, I believe in creating an environment that's safe, stimulating, and most importantly, fun! I'm well versed in the art of balancing numerous duties, ranging from cooking and light housekeeping, to running errands and grocery shopping. I love fueling children's imagination and creativity, be it through arts and crafts or engaging games. And when it comes to homework help or organizing educational outings, I'm always up for the task! Being a fluent speaker of both English and French, I look forward to connecting with you and your children in a language that feels most comfortable. Rest assured, I have an excellent driving record and am more than able to transport your kids to any activities or appointments around the city. Although I cannot relocate, I bring great flexibility when it comes to working hours. On evenings throughout the week, I am ready to accommodate your family’s unique schedule. Equipped with a verified police check, a non-smoker status, and a talent for creating delightful, healthy meals even for those with dietary restrictions, I'm keen to provide quality care and companionship for your children. Plus, I'm a pro when it comes to keeping the kitchen tidy and managing any pet-related chores. Whether your family is in need of a Nanny, Virtual Babysitter, Nanny/Tutor, Babysitter, Special needs Nanny, or Mother's Helper, I'm committed to bringing a positive, educational experience to your children's lives. After all, with me, every day promises to be an adventure full of learning and laughter. Let's embark on this journey together.
I have been a babysitter casually since I was 16 for almost 10 years! I have worked mainly with families with children who are on the autism spectrum, developmental delays, or with behavioural difficulties. I have also worked as a shadow/integration aide in various private Montessori preschools across Montreal. I am open to helping with cleaning, child care, pet care, tutoring, pick up/drop off, overnight, etc. I am currently a Master’s student at the University of Ottawa specializing in child psychology. Working with children is both my passion and specialty! I am young, fun, energetic, empathic, compassionate, and bilingual.
