Kenzie B.
I am a university student studying psychology with a genuine passion for children and child development. Throughout my studies, I’ve gained meaningful insight into how children grow and learn at different stages. I really enjoy being able to bring that understanding into my childcare approach and supporting children in a way that fits their individual needs. Over the years I have had the pleasure of working with multiple families, caring for children of various ages ranging from 8 months to 9 years old. Each child I’ve worked with has taught me something valuable, and I truly appreciate the opportunity to build connections with them, whether through play, helping with routines, or simply being a steady and supportive presence in their day. I am CPR and First Aid certified, based in Brooklin, ON, and I have my own vehicle. I’m available for part-time or occasional care from June to August before returning to school in September. Alongside childcare, I’m happy to help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, children’s laundry, homework support, school pick-ups and drop-offs, and keeping shared spaces tidy and organized. I always aim to be a helping hand wherever needed to make things a little easier for busy families. Outside of work and school, I enjoy reading, hiking, and spending time outdoors. I also grew up around pets and have always loved animals, so I’m very comfortable helping care for household pets as well. I’m someone who is patient, responsible, and genuinely enjoys spending time with kids. I would love the opportunity to connect and learn more about your family!
As a University student pursuing a career in child psychology, I’ve had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with children of various ages. I’ve worked as a part-time nanny for multiple families, caring for children ranging from 8 months to 7 years old. In these roles, I’ve developed strong skills in managing daily routines, engaging in age-appropriate activities, and providing a safe and supportive environment for each child. This experience has further fueled my passion for understanding child development and supporting their emotional and cognitive growth.
Currently pursuing my BA in Psychology.
