My name is Kenzie, and I am a university student studying psychology, with plans to pursue a Master’s in child psychology after I graduate. I love being around children, and over the years I’ve had the pleasure of working with multiple families, caring for children of various ages ranging from 8 months to 7 years old. I bring a fun, upbeat attitude to every day, and I’m known for being patient, reliable, and calm under pressure. I’m flexible and quick to adapt, whether that means adjusting to a changing schedule or supporting kids through different routines and needs. I’m certified in First Aid and CPR, based in Ottawa, and have my own vehicle. I’m available for part-time, or occasional care between September to April, before I return to my home town in the summer. Since my home town is far from Ottawa I will also be unable to work during events such as reading week and Christmas break! In my spare time I love to read, go to the gym, hike, and spend time outdoors! Growing up I had a bunch of different pets, and I am a huge animal lover so If your family has a furry friend that needs to be walk or cared for I have no problem helping out. Whether it’s helping with homework, doing crafts, or caring for a little one, I’m all about supporting busy parents and providing reliable care to your kids. This experience has further fueled my passion for understanding child development and supporting their emotional and cognitive growth.
