I come from a Moroccan/International background, I’ve moved around my entire life (Switzerland, Canada, Morocco, Algeria) which gave me the opportunity to understand and explore different languages/cultures. Coming from a family of 7 with 5 children and I as the eldest, I am quite used to taking care of children. It’s something that I truly enjoy and it’s very much second nature to me. Currently a law student, I love reading about almost all kinds of topics. During my free time baking, yoga and horseback riding are my foundational hobbies with some painting here and there. Main Responsibilities: - Feeding/Cooking Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner - Playing or organizing games for the children - Shower/Bath time and ensuring the kids are tucked in bed on time - Homework/Study help - Helping the children immerse in a language (French, English, Spanish) Children: - Taken care of children aged 3-16 years - Taken care of 0-14 month olds - 1-4 kids at a time Experience: - Opened and managed a small babysitting club in a previous school during events, where parents would drop their kids off for the duration of the event - Supervised children and created a safe, creative and fun environment for them - Adhered to food hygiene and safety standards - Babysat and took care of 3-4 month old (burping, changing, nap time) - Provided homemade bitesize meals and snacks for the children - Organized inventory of toys, art materials etc… - Enhanced communication skills as different ones were needed for different children (different language backgrounds) in order to understand them and ensure they’re needs are being met.
