My name is Amanda, I am a trained Early Childhood Educator with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education aimed in providing safe, nurturing care for infants and young children. I come from a close-knit family and truly understand the importance of creating a warm, supportive home environment. In my free time, I enjoy reading children's literature, doing simple crafts and spending time outdoors for example, activities that I love to incorporate into play and learning. I'm known for my patience, energy, empathy and strong communication skills which helps me connect to both children and parents. I genuinely enjoy helping children learn and grow.

I work as a Child care provider. My first priority is always the safety and well being of every child in my care. I bring proven skills in patience, empathy and multitasking and I remain calm when handling minor injuries or addressing behavioral challenges. I'm highly safety conscious and communicate clearly, explaining activities to children in an engaging way while keeping parents fully informed of their child's progress and daily experiences. I manage daily schedules that include nap times, play sessions and outings while also assisting with homework and fostering early literacy and numeracy development. I keep parents informed of their child's daily progress and developmental milestones, prepare healthy meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary requirements. Additionally, I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education which has strengthened my ability to design age-appropriate activities, reinforce knowledge of child development and best practices in care.
