Jennie B.
49 female, not married and no children. I am originally from Minden AKA The Haliburton Hylands. I moved to Oshawa in 2000 for much more opportunities in the Healthcare Field and have done many roles and continue to broaden my skills. I also volunteer as a Crisis Responder in Durham Region. I have and continue to do education around Mental Health & Addictions. I enjoy the outdoors. Our family cottage is in Carnarvon (just outside of my home town) its nice when I have the time to run away from the hustle & bustle of the city. I enjoy Kareoke, walking my little 5 pound dog, I enjoy festivals, live music, horse pulls, fairs, music. Watching Hockey & Baseball -those two sports dictate my evenings 😅 I try and go to a few live games as well Love to cook...but the good hearty farm meals that I grew up on (actual home cooked meals) - meat, potatoes, home made soups from scratch, salads. I learned from the best (my Gram/Nana)and making enough to feed an army feeding our farm hands and the men in the logging camp. I'm kind, compassionate & empathetic. I'm family oriented and they mean the world to me. I can thank them for instilling all of us kids with good values and a strong work ethic.
I have mainly worked with children/teen/adults/seniors with complex care, G-tube, TBI, CP, SB, non verbal, full ADL needs and or assistance. Geriatric care - heavier care needs I've been in Healthcare in all different aspects since the late 90's.
